Description / Facilities

In the heart of the Douro, not far from Régua, Quinta do Vallado straddles the River Corgo, near its point of confluence with the Douro. With a history dating back to 1716, the Quinta was owned by the legendary D. Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and has been kept in the family, now in its sixth generation. However, it was João Álvares Ribeiro, a descendant of this well-known lady, who refurbished the family home and opened its doors to visitors seeking comfortable accommodation in the region. Due to the internationally acknowledged high quality of its wines, Quinta do Vallado is already one of the top references for the best that the Douro has to offer.
