At the center of the historical zone of Viana do Castelo is located the "Casa dos Costa Barros", also known as "Casa da Janela Manuelina", which architectural style praises Portuguese discoveries. Built in the XVIth century, this House belongs to the "Barros" family since 1765. Its got 8 bedrroms - all including bathrooms, tv sets , radio , phone and central heating. It provides also a bar and a dedicated leisure room to the guests. Inside the guestbook some ilustrious Portuguese political personalities like Dr. Mário Suares (Ex president).
