Initially as a traditional grocery store, Chalandra openned its doorsback in 1921. In 1933 it obtained the first license to carry out the catering activity.
After all these years of well-serving, the activity of Chalandra is recognized as a typical house of Matosinhos.
In February 2016 reopened with new management, focusing on the increase of the food service and the creation of new specialties, nonetheless maintaining a service of high quality and excellence.
Chalandra is distinguished by its cosy and familiar atmosphere, combined with the quality of its cuisine, in particular the fish soup and the freshness of the best fish and seafood.
