The Alvão Crossing is a pedestrian path, designated as a Long Route, as going through it, involves more than a day's journey (54 Km). Takes place in the higher altitude areas of the County, in the northern extension of the Serra do Alvão, passing through a set of interesting mountain communities in ecosystems of high biological, landscape and cultural wealth; a Network of Nature Hostels complements this proposal, with a choice of accommodation during the Walk.
