The Tourism and Fluvial pier of Folgosa has the distinction of having the first semi-aquatic bar-restaurant of the Douro, with the front to the lagoon and the sighting to the vineyards of Covelinhas.
It also has a "suspended" terrace on the water. This work of IPTM (Port and Maritime Transport Institute) responsibility began in February 2005 and provided, still, the urban arrangement of the riverfront. The dock can accommodate cruise ships of any type, from boat-hotels to cruise ships, with space for 15 pleasure boats and an emergency ramp.
