If you don´t visit the beach on August 24th, you have no ideia what you are missing! This is the annual Feast of S. Bartolomeu with the famous “ Banho Santo “ ( Holy Bath ).
The Church Velha Mar was for centuries the main church of the parish. From the original temple nothing has left. The actual church is provably from the VI Century and has been enlarged as population grows.
A megalitic monument is in the middle of an agriculture field, certainly a different environment than the original.
