Following south on Rua de São Bento, you can follow trip to the riverside area.
Approximately in the middle of the street you will find the Casa do Vinhal, a small XVII century palace which houses the Museum of Rendas de Bilros and a school dedicated to the teaching of this secular art.
At the bottom of the street we can see the Chapel of São Bento, a fine example of religious architecture of an almost familiar scale.
