The Green “Marginal” Trail short trail is 3 km long and departs from the PR1 FAF - Rota do Maroiço, an environmental and landscape trail, around the Queimadela Dam, across woods and forests. The trail begins near the camping site, crosses the dam wall and then turns right to a dirt road along the wall. The view over the reservoir is stunning.
