SHORT ROUTE 2 VRM - CAMPOS ROUTE
Located in the heart of Serra da Cabreira and classified as "Aldeias de Portugal" (Villages of Portugal), the village of Campos is the perfect place for families and groups of friends who like to enjoy nature and the simple pleasures of rural living. This is still a ‘minhotos’ real treasure, where a concentrated core of traditional housing, good examples of vernacular architecture (bridges, mills, granaries, community ovens), local traditions and ample green spaces.

Loop Route that starts and finishes in Campos, with an approximate extension of 13.8 km and average degree of difficulty. Featured throughout its trail a picnic area and a water spring. This is a route with some exposure.
Access to the Route
Departing from Vieira do Minho follow up to Cerdeirinhas. At the intersection of EN 304 with the EN 103, turn right towards Chaves. Keep on the EN 103 for approximately 30 km. You will find on your right, an intersection appropriately signalled, indicating the direction to Campos. After travelling about 3 km, you will reach a crossroad with a small square. On your left, you will find the directing panel indicating the beginning of the trail.
