This company was founded in 1965, initially only with a factory, expanding for new spaces as a result of its development. It is dedicated to deep slate extraction. Along its initial factory it extracts slate from three mines. Concerning the quality requirements of the various markets, the slate extraction and treatment are processed by advanced techniques. It has a lot of slate in existing mines; however it was initiated a new research in an area of approximately 50,000 m2 as result of an investment.
