The Municipal Museum of Vale de Cambra is installed in the old Town Hall building of the village of Macieira de Cambra, which was the county seatuntil 1926. It is a XIX century building, having suffered adaptation works. It was inaugurated in 1997, on the International Museum Day, 18th
May. It has as main objectives the collection, the study and protection of the municipal heritage.
