This beach is located on the river bank of the Paiva river, near the village of Meitriz. The river divides separates Meitriz from Barco village. The river and surrounding landscape are very beautiful and pleasant. Only a few years ago the river crossing was made by boat, the only way to link the two banks. Today there is a bridge.
