The Fafião Oil Mill is an hydraulic engine that sits at the entrance of the Fafião village (coming from Montalegre), and for many years has enabled the making of olive oil in this region. Currently, it no longer works, either for lack of olives, due to the existance of simpler means that do not require such large quantities, or even the poor condition of the engine.
