The Casa Museu de Vilar (Vilar House Museum) is a small museum dedicated to the animated image. Exhibitions: the Pre-Movies, the Animations of Abi Feijó and Regina Pessoa and International Animation. Pedagogical Area: demonstration of the animation cinema techniques, Workshops of Optical Toys and Animated Film, Lectures and Film Screenings.
In this Museum we can observe and interact with several devices that take advantage of the illusion of moving images, and also understand its functioning and its history. We also intend to make a connection bridge between its origin and the modern and contemporary approaches. Come and discover the magic of the moving images.
