The “Campanhó” village is a small cluster lost on the mountain, sharply topography which gives it a singular beauty, like a cozy crib by the “Marão” mountain.

Difficult soil characteristics forced the man to the construction of terraced fields to the practice of agriculture, the main source of subsistence of the village. Were important in the economy of the locality the lime and black marble explorations. Noteworthy is the transept “Senhor dos Aflitos”, piece of great cultural and iconographic value. It is a quota of 626m and is distant 37km from the county seat.
